How to Draw Super Sonic
Step 1
As mentioned at the beginning of this guide to drawing Super Sonic, this rendering that we will be working on shows Sonic in his enhanced state. Its Super Sonic form has a few differences from its normal appearance, and most are relatively subtle.
Gold is the primary colour, but there are also differences, such as how its feathers point up instead of down. For now, you can draw his eyes’ rounded but pointed shapes and add rounded lines for his snout and mouth.
Finally, he uses more rounded lines with pointed tips for the large feathers at the back of the head. If you’d rather see Sonic in his standard form, tilt him down.
Step 2
To continue this Super Sonic design, the following aspects we will add will be his chest and first arm. Starting from her chest, you can draw an oval shape under her head and then surround it with curved lines.
Its back will also have some large pointed sections sticking out. Next, draw a long thin shape for her arm and then add her gloved hand, indicating this at the end. You are now ready for the third step of this guide!
Step 3
The pose we will draw in this guide on how to draw Super Sonic has him leaping into the air in triumph. To further illustrate the carriage, we’ll add her legs in this third step of the tutorial.
The left leg is raised, so you can use curved lines to represent it. The right leg will be straight and extended with its big shoe at the end.
This allows you to pull the shoe onto the bent left leg. Finally, draw her little spiky tail on her back so we can continue to add to this image in the fourth step of the guide.
Step 4
In these final steps, we will get to the last elements and details of this Super Sonic drawing. We’ll keep it simple in this fourth part of the guide. All you have to do is pull out your left fist.
Use the curved lines to draw the closed fist with the thumb curled over it. Once you’ve added that first, you’re ready for some final details and items in the next step of the guide!
Step 5
You’ve completed all the outlines of this image, and in this step of our how-to-draw Super Sonic guide, we’ll focus on some finer details. We’ll add many small curved lines over the head, body, and limbs. These lines help add some depth to the image and some shading to the picture.
Once you’ve added those details, you can finish with some finishing touches and personal touches at the end! Here you can allow your imagination to run unrestricted, as it is about creating your perfect Super Sonic picture. You can add elements like other characters from the Sonic universe or draw a background to show your favourite Super Sonic scenes and moments.
Step 6
Now it’s time to finish this Super Sonic drawing with some paint! The colour of this character’s incarnation is the most significant difference between her and Sonic’s usual appearance.
As seen in our reference image, Super Sonic is tinted with vibrant shades of gold and yellow, in contrast to the blue of its standard form. It also has red pupils and shoes for some colour contrast.
You could use these colours to recreate Super Sonic, but if you show it in its default form, you can colour it blue instead.
