Instagram users can now create QR codes that others can scan and take to their accounts. By simply scanning the code, people will have access to your Photo Stream, without requiring a username or any other details.
Here, we will show you step by step how you can create a QR code for your Instagram account.
Why create a QR code for my Instagram account?
fair question. This new feature won’t be overly appealing to some, but it’s a really handy way for people who run businesses to promote their feeds on Instagram. Once a QR code is created, it can be posted on websites, social media, or even printed out in a visible place in the real world. Then, interested parties can scan the code and it is immediately delivered to your account.
In these days of COVID-19, it is also an easy way to swap account details without writing or talking.
How do I create a QR code for Instagram?
Creating your own QR code is very easy. Open the Instagram app on your phone and tap on your account icon in the lower right corner. On the next page, tap the three lines in the upper right corner to open the menu, then select the QR code option from the list that appears.
You will now be presented with your personal QR code. To save it, you can either take a screenshot (usually by holding down the power and volume down buttons at the same time) or tap the share icon in the upper right corner.
